Dear Mrs Scheithauer:

I was shocked and saddend to hear of the sudden passing of one of my best friends during our high school years. We knew him as Walter the weight lifter and strong man at Lodi Academy. He was one of the top students and always willing to help others and a friend to all. My last contact with him was about 12 years ago when he was visiting in Fortuna. Even with his remarkable sucess and achievements in his very specialized and well respected career he remained true to his old friends. I grieve with you at this sad time and my thoughts and prayers go out to you and to all family and fiends who share in this sorrow. May God's love bring you some comfort.

Love, Gottfried

Dearest Renata, I was so very sorry to learn of your sudden loss of Bernd. I remember when we worked together at BofA and Bernd was a young student, how hard both you and Walter worked to help Bernd with his education. He was very grateful to have had such giving, loving parents. The last time I saw him was when my mother and I came by to visit when Walter passed away. I wish I lived closer and could come by and give you a hug. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Reta
