Virgie Rice Obituary

VIRGIE MAE RICE Virgie was born June 12, 1916 and died May 14th at 98 years of age. She was born in Dequeen, Arkansas to Richard and Stella Denson. She is survived by daughter Shirley Farley, grandson Harold Hagans, wife Debra Hagans, grandson Scott Farley and wife Peggy Farley, great-grandson Mike Hagans and wife Shannon Hagans, great-grandson Chris Hagans, great-great-grandsons Kohdi Hagans, Zachary Hagans, Casey Hagans and great-great-granddaughter Abigail Hagans. Preceding her in death are husband Norman Rice, son Norman Scott Rice, sister Lola Parker, brother Richard Denson and sister Billy Morrow, and son-in-law Jim Farley. Virgie worked in the shipyard at San Pedro, CA as a welder during WWII and later stayed home and loved to cook and can and enjoy being with the family. Graveside services are at Greenwood Cemetery on May 22nd at 12 pm. She was well loved and will be missed by all. Please sign the guestbook at www.times-standard.com under obituaries.

granny was loved by every one who had the pleasure to have be loved by her. I will miss her. She was the best granny any one ever had. My children and I had 29years of love and the best hugs ever..
