We are so sorry to hear of Craig's passing. We appreciate the many ways he helped us at Moretown school with playground and landscaping projects. His dedication to make the roads safe in order to transport our students is another one of Craig's fine qualities we will miss. Our thoughts are with his family.

Danny and I were both shocked and deeply saddened by the news of Craig's passing. We will truly miss his friendly smile that he shared as he passed our home while working on the roads. He has been Kay's morning alarm clock during the winter, as he passed with the snowplow every weekday. Our deepest sympathies go out to all those people who were near and dear to him. Sincerely, Kay & Dan McHugh

To the Elwell's,
You have experienced a great loss. Craig was not just our road foreman, he was a great friend and neighbor. He was a man who truly cared about the town and it's people. We will miss cornering him on his walk to talk politics and catch up. Craig will be deeply missed by all who knew him and the loss will be everlasting.

The news that we have lost one of Moretown's most respected and trusted citizens is very sad. As Road Commissioner, Craig Elwell kept the town roads in tip-top shape. He was a kind and cheerful man. No matter who may replace him on the town grader, whenever I pass it, I know I will look up expecting to see Craig's friendly smile and little wave. My sympathy to all his family and those who knew him as a friend. Moretown has lost one of its great men.
