Dear Aunt Louise, Blair, Katie and Bryan,
I have such fond memories of Uncle George and the house on Ponus, the play house he made for you and walking through the woods to go skating at the Winter Club.
I was so sorry when Sandy Garsson told me he taken a turn for the worse and then passed away.
We are well. Mom is fine. Sold her house and moved her into an apartment in town. Much easier and no worries. I re-married almost 5 years ago. He went to Country School and fondly remembers Uncle George as one of those teachers who made a difference and gave him a love for wood working.
We were going to stop a few years ago when we were in Williamsburg on vacation but the horrors of 9/11 happened while we were there and even though we drove through Richmond on the way back (taking the western route to avoid the city) we wanted to get home as quickly as we could. I regret not stopping...
Our best to you all. You are in our prayers.
Peace,
Patty
