I'm writing this 16 years after my fathers death. I miss him still today as do many others. He left behind a legacy which allowed me to grow into the man I am today. I know he would love to have met my wife and children.

I will see you again. Love you dad.

How lucky I was to get to know Bill. There are some real benefits to working the night shift. Bill, Allen, Pam, and I didn't exactly solve worldly problems during our coffee breaks but we did, however, develop a deep and true friendship. Bill was a perfect example of a true friend. It was always great to see Bill because he always had a big smile and he took life with stride. Bill was fair and true. He was a wonderful and proud father. I feel a huge loss since Bill passed away. Bill made such an impact on the lives of many. I am so thankful that Bill found true happiness before he died. As Bill said "Carol was his angel" on earth. And I think that Bill is our angel in Heaven.

Bill was such a loving, happy person.I'm certain he will be missed by all of us.For me it is difficult to go day to day without him. I am reminded of the movie "Phenomenon" when he knows he will die shortly, he asks her "will you love me for the rest of my life, and she says no... I'll love you for the rest of mine." We never know how much time we have with someone,it never seems to be enough. I was lucky to have found him and he will always be a part of me. I will love him for the rest of MY life.

For the Sutton family: I was so saddened to learn of Bill's death. I work at the hospital and met Bill when he was x-raying my son who had a life-threatening head injury fourteen years ago. Bill was so kind and caring. We became friends after that. I've never forgotten Bill's kindness and cheerfulness. Bill will be missed by a lot of people. He was a one of a kind.

Bill was more than my instructor, he was one of my close friends. It saddens my heart to know I will never hear one of his long stories again. Or hear that booming laugh. Bill taught me valuable lessons about life and Radiology that I will take with me in my future. I know I will look beside me and he will still be standing there. His inspiration and spirit will never die. His footsteps will be forever etched in the hallways of the hospitals of Bon Secour and his love and devotion will forever be apart of our lives for years to come. I will never forget him.

To the family, please accept my condolences. Mr. Sutton will truly be missed. He was a great instructor, mentor, and friend. He will never be forgotten. I learned so much from him just by observing. He always had a way of putting a smile on your face no matter what kind of day you were having. We love you and miss you.
