Robert Linwood Davis

DAVIS, Robert Linwood, 81, of Glen Allen, passed away on May 21, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Ruby Davis; as well as seven of his eight sisters. He is survived by the love of each other's lives, his wife, Sue Davis; children, Donna Stewart (Philip), Kristi Meyer (Matt), Bobby Hall (Bev), Ronald C. Hall (Celeste), Cheryl Hall and Pam Cutright (David); 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; as well as his sister, Evelyn Schaffer. Born in Roanoke Rapids, N.C., Robert worked in carpentry and construction for over 45 years in the Richmond area. He was a sweet, gentle man and will be missed by all those whose lives he touched. A gathering of family and friends will take place 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., May 25, at Bliley's, 8510 Staples Mill Road, where a celebration of his life will follow 1:30 p.m., May 26.
