Rowan Francis Obituary
Rowan is survived by his mother, Virginia Murchison Eggleston; grandmother, Judy Fry Rogers; grandfather, Beverley P. Eggleston III; uncle, Beverley P. Eggleston IV; and his first cousin, Mary Osha Eggleston. In addition, there are dozens of aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends who will miss him dearly. Rowan was a good friend to everyone he met, with a genuine heart, always available to support those in need. He had a passion for music, a keen mind and his enthusiasm often brought his friends and community closer. A celebration of Rowan's life, with stories and memories, will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2021, outdoors on the banks of the James River, American Legion Hall, 4800 Welby Turn, Midlothian, Va. 23113. Dress accordingly, masks optional. In lieu of flowers, please consider a charity supporting the homeless in memory of Rowan's passion for service to others. For condolences, see blileys.com.

This is a picture of Rowan in the middle from probably 2013 at FFS and Charles on the far right. Dav Lobs is on the left. So two of the three are no longer with us and I hate that you have to go through this. I loved Rowan. His compassion, his love for others, his ability to listen.
