I just happened to see this and I'm so sorry to hear about him. The duty's had a summer cottage in Deltaville and I got to know Les and we hunted and fished together for years. Such good memories. Tyler Crittenden

Mary, so sorry to hear your father passed. I enjoyed meeting him and talking with him some years ago...quite the accomplished gentleman. Sorry for your loss and hope you are doing the best possible during this time.

Marianne and Mary Leslie, My heart aches for your lost of a special man in your lives. The obituary was a beautiful story of his life. When your heart is empty, filling it with happy memories can help you find your smiles. Memories are the legacy of love. I hope you'll remember you have friends who will listen and care...and I'm one of them. You're in my thoughts and prayers every step of the way.

Dearest Marianne . . . The obituary on Les was such gentle reading. I could visualize so easily all of the grand transitions in his life, especially when he met you. Your lives were so full, and I know each of you cherished every year. These are the kinds of relationships that are bookmarked as remarkable. Love to you and the family.

The connection forged between those who have such great bonds cannot ever be diminished. Keep faith in that at this very sad time, and know that the special person you can no longer see will be with you for all time. My deepest sympathy to my favorite lit professor, Marianne, and to my buddy from law school, Mary-Les....
