Yuen Chin Obituary

CHIN Yuen Young Chin, 78, of Mechanicsville, died Thursday, October 26, 2006. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Woo Moon Yee Chin; and is survived by his wife, Chiu Y. Chin; two sons and their wives, Thick S. and Pik W. Chin and Ming S. and Stephanie Chin; five grandchildren, John H. Chin and his wife, Nancy, Ye May Chin, Ken H. Chin, Samantha Y. Chin, and Sabrina Y. Chin; two stepsons, Wai Y. Lau and Wai S. Lau; a sister, W. H. Chin Liu and her family; a brother, Yuen Soo Chin and his family. In 1969, Mr. Chin started the restaurant Chin Young. He was a generous person and had taken care of relatives and friends with a good heart and generosity. He was well-liked by his friends and community. His friends called him "Mr. Young." His family will receive friends from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., where services will be conducted 12 noon Saturday. Interment Riverview Cemetery.

MR YOUNG WAS A VERY GOOD MAN TO ALL.I WILL MISS HIM VERY MUCH. I FEEL AS THOUGH I GREW UP WITH HIM AND HIS FAMILY.I STARTED WORKING FOR MR YOUNG WHEN I WAS ONLY 17.THAT WAS MANY YEARS AGO.I WISH MING AND HIS FAMILY NOTHING BUT LOVE AND PRAYERS.SHEILA, BARBIE,TERRI, AND JOHNNY BRUCE
