Umberto Santoro Sr.

Umberto Santoro Sr. passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. He was 84. Mr. Santoro of East Norriton was a member of the Holy Saviour Church, Holy Saviour Club, and the Holy Saviour senior citizens group. Umberto was born in Montella, Italy on February 24, 1938 and was the son of the late Salvatore and Rachele (Rizzo) Santoro. Umberto was the husband of Marguerite (DiGiovanni) Santoro for 58 years. He is also survived by his two sons Bert (wife Emanuela) and Matthew Santoro. Daughter Maria (husband Charles) Conway. Three grandchildren Elyse and Jacob Santoro and Shannon Conway. Brother Luigi Santoro, sister Gemma Perna and many nieces, nephews and godchildren. Umberto's viewing will be held on Monday, January 2 from 8:30 to 9:45 AM, followed by his funeral mass at 10 AM in Holy Saviour Church, Norristown. Entombment will be in Saint Patrick's Mausoleum. Family request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Holy Saviour Church or Holy Saviour Club. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Volpe funeral home. Volpefh.com
