Jimmie Williams, Sr. Obituary
Dec. 3, 1938 - Aug. 5, 2012
Jimmie Lett Williams, Sr., was born on Dec. 3, 1938 in Lecompte, Louisiana to Irene Colbert White. He was raised in life by his aunt and uncle, Elizabeth White and Jake Williams, Sr., and departed God's earth on Aug. 5, 2012 at his family home in Vallejo, CA. Jimmie Sr., was married for more than fifty years to Lena Rose Williams, and through this union, they were blessed to be the parents of three sons, Michael Lee, Alfred Lee and Jimmie Lett, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Lena; his children, Michael, Alfred and Jimmie Jr.; his grandchildren, Jasmine, Brandon, Thomas, Catherine, Erin, Matthew, Aubrey, Joshua and Savannah; his siblings, Sergeant Major Wilbert Williams, Lonnie Williams, Patricia Ann Henry-Hittesdorf, Edward Williams, Glenda Gale Roberts-Johnson, Linda Williams, Jake Earl Williams, Jr., Stanley Larosa Williams, Tribble Barrett, Rosevelt Simmons, Evelyn Mayfield, Bobby McCrae; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by Irene Colbert White, Elizabeth White Williams and Jake Earl Williams, Sr.; siblings, Wahna Ré Williams, Claude Williams, Esaw Williams Sr., Grace Williams and Jessie Jones, and his grandson, Jordan Gray Williams.
Visitation will be held Monday, Aug. 13, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with Vigil Monday, Aug. 13, at 7 p.m., at Colonial Chapels, 1000 Redwood St., Vallejo, CA 94590. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 10 a.m., St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 925 Sacramento St. Vallejo, CA 94590.

Hi dad. Sorry I have not written in a while. My new computer crashed and burned. On my old computer now. Not a good excuse I know. I watched your memorial again. Jimmie did a good job. A few more pictures would have been nice. Well I am almost ready to start again on getting back my license. Just have to get this house stuff done. I am doing well and almost back to my old self. I miss you dad. I love you and will be back soon. As soon as I get some pictures uploaded I will put them here. I will make sure your are never forgotten. When I am gone I will turn this site over to Tommy to continue and all the family will be here. A family tree is what will be here for all to see and remember.

Hi Dad. Well I finally got everything done and turned in. They may not accept me but I finished and that was the most important part. I am feeling better but not yet fully myself.
