James E. Betts, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Aug. 3, 2017, at Lackawanna Health Care, Olyphant. Funeral 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mamary-Durkin Funeral Service, 59 Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre. Friends may call 10 a.m. to service.
