Jerome Pollick Obituary
SWOYERSVILLE — Jerome F. Pollick of Swoyersville, passed away March 21, 2023, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Manhattan, N.Y.
Born June 25, 1936, in Kingston, He was the son of the late Joseph and Rose Charnecky Pollick.
Jerry was a 1955 graduate of Swoyersville High School, and served with the United States Army Corps of Engineers from 1959 to 1961.
He was employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Natural Resources at Francis Slocum State Park.
He was a member of St. Monica Church, Wyoming, and a 3rd degree in the Knights of Columbus, Council #3987, Luzerne.
Jerome was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener, and sports fan.
Surviving is his wife, the former Patricia Kader; son, Jerome J. Pollick and his wife Anita, of Swoyersville; daughter, Bridgett Zimmerman and her husband John, of Kingston; grandchildren: James A. Pollick, Briann and Kristen Zimmerman; great-grandson, Jacob A. Pollick; and sister, Bernadette Dintinger of California.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Monica Parish, 363 West 8th St., West Wyoming. The Rev. Peter Tomczak, pastor, will be celebrant.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre.
