Margaret Heid Obituary
SHAVERTOWN — Margaret Heid, 89, of Shavertown, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2023, at River View Nursing Center, Wilkes-Barre Township.
Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (Woodeshick) Ackerman. Margaret graduated from Kingston Township High School in 1951, and received her RN in New York City in 1953, eventually retiring from WB VAMC, where she was proud to have assisted in the healthcare of those who have served our nation.
She is survived by a son, David; and two granddaughters, Cassidy and Ashlyn.
Private interment will be held at Hanover Green Cemetery at the convenience of family.
Arrangements by Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home, Inc., Shavertown.
