Jessica, Chris, and Al,

I was shocked and very saddened to learn about the loss of your mother and wife. I have so many good memories of her from my childhood that are a big part of my life. She was taken away from you much too soon, and I will always keep a positive memory of her in my heart, as I know you all will. Much love and condolences.

Dear Alan & Children, Carl, Tony & Families,

We grew up with Marian. I as a next door neighbor and grade school buddy, Charlie was a high school classmate. We will always remember her as looking like a pixie, but with the determination of a dynamo. It did not surprise us to read of her involvement with church, school, and her community. We were all blessed by knowing her, and shocked at how quickly she was taken. We hope that your love and wonderful memories sustain you through this difficult time.

* Rather than mourn the absence of the flame, let us celebrate how brightly it glowed.*

To Al, Marian's children, and all who love Marian,

I too was sad to read of Marian's death - much too soon. It's been a few years since we were in touch (I believe it was back when we spoke about starting Odyssey of the Mind) - but Marian is one of those people whose footprints remain on your heart forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you travel on this unexplored journey. Be open to the ways in which your wife and mom will let you know she is still with you.

Much love,
Sylvia & Victor

Al Jessica and Christopher,
It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Marian. I heard the words and could not believe that my high school friend "Cheeks" had left us already. Be comforted by the
memories, smiles and love she shared with all of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. You all now have a special angel to look over you from above. May God be with you

To Al and Family,
So sorry about Marian. It was quite a shock. I will always remember the fun time we had in the Bahamas back in 2000 on the PPL Company trip. Also, the short time i did work with her. She was a real sweetie. May your memories of her comfort you at this time. May she rest in peace. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Alan, Jessica and Christopher,
With such sadness I write this note -knowing you all were with heavy hearts the past few weeks. Our deepest sympathy, love and prayers are with you are this most difficult time. My fondest memory of Marion was one Memorial Day parade - sitting on my parents porch watching the parade. The air cold and me with a mug of coffee. Marion looked at me and said with a BIG GRIN "ok where did that cup of coffee come from" we laughed and headed to the kitchen to get her a cup too. Jessica and Christopher were younger and wondered why their Mom and the coffee clutching woman were laughing sipping the coffee. (Laughing because I was complaining over INSTANT coffee - all we could find in that house! It was just a moment of humor that stuck with me over the years. May memories of this sweet woman - be with you and help ease the pain. Love, Clarann & Family
