Julie Smith Obituary

Julie Ann Smith, 48, of 464 Goodrich St., Newcomerstown, O., went peacefully to spend eternity with the Lord Tuesday, March 30, 2010, in OSU Medical Center at Columbus, O.
She was born May 7, 1961, at Cambridge, O., to Thomasina (Postlewaite) Smith of Newcomerstown, O., and the late Charles Rogers Smith.
She was a 1980 Newcomerstown High School graduate. She previously worked at Handy & Harman of Dover and West Lafayette Care Center in the dietary department.
She was a former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Newcomerstown.
She enjoyed cross stitching, embroidering, knitting, crocheting and word search puzzles. She was faithful reading the Bible every day.
Survivors include one sister, Janet Berkshire and husband Bob of Newcomerstown; and fiancé, Tom Heimbush of Newcomerstown. She will be truly missed by her mother, sister, family and friends.
Services will be held at Addy Funeral Home on Saturday, April 3, 2010, beginning at 1 p.m. Rev. Chauncey Eggan will officiate. Burial will take place in West Lawn Cemetery at Newcomerstown, O. Visitation will be held in Addy Funeral Home on Friday, April 2, 2010, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 3, 2010, from noon to 1 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield, O. 44406.
