Beverly A. De Silva

De Silva, Beverly A. TROY Beverly A. De Silva, formerly of Troy passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Schuyler Ridge Residential & Adult Day Care after a long illness. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Beryl and Angela Yetts Davis. Beverly was a Graduate of Catholic Central High School and prior to her retirement she was employed by New York State, Department of Audit and Control. Survivors include her daughter, Cheri (Paul) Pinkans of Schnectady; her grandchildren, Julianna and Mallory Pinkans of Schenectady; her brothers, Frank J. Davis of Troy, John J.(Ellen) Davis of North Greenbush, and Jeffery P. (Colleen) Davis of Brunswick. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family of Beverly De Silva will greet relatives and friends on Friday from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Church of St. Vincent De Paul, 900 Madison Ave., Albany, N.Y., which will be followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial at 6:30 p.m.
