Condolences and prayers to the whole Amodeo family. Amy (& Dan) are really the only ones I know, but the family was always a vital part of Pine Hills and St. Vincent's Church. May you be blest by loving memories.

What a wonderful tribute to Mrs. Amodeo, who set a beautiful example of what it means to raise a family and live a full life. She and Mr. Amodeo will long be in our memories. One of my recollections is visting the family homestead on West Lawrence Street and having Mr. Amodeo kindly offer lunch to a kid from around the corner, in addition to providing for all of his own. People with big hearts make room for one more, and that was always true of the Amodeos. Condolences to all the family and God bless.

Eileen was a dear friend. St. Patrick 's Day won't be the same without being able to wish her a happy birthday. Doris Penman and I enjoyed sharing Brooks' chicken barbecue with her and Pat when they came to Albany. Eileen was a wonderful lady and will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to all her family!

We are so sorry to learn of Eileen's passing. She was certainly a much loved and admired woman who raised incredibly compassionate, intelligent and faithful children. As a mother your children are a reflection of you and what a beautiful image Eileen has left.

I lived with several other Sisters of St Joseph two houses away from the Amodeo family and we loved having them as neighbors. We knew the children well; most of them delivered our newspaper at one time or another but in bad weather Eileen would drive the kids up and down Western Avenue with the papers.
Eileen's gifts are best seen in the loving way she raised her children. The entire family reflected her kindness as well as her love of God. Eileen made this earth a gentle place and she will be remembered with gratitude.
