Eileen Thompson Obituary

Thompson, Eileen C.
ALBANY - Eileen C. Thompson passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital on Friday, June 9, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends.
Eileen was born in Potsdam, the daughter of the late Frank A. and Eileen Sullivan Thompson. She is survived by her loving sister, Anne E. Thompson. She was predeceased by her brother, Michael F. Thompson, and sister, Mary Jane Shults. She leaves behind several cousins, nephews, and a great-nephew and great-niece.
"Bean" as she was affectionally called, loved all things Irish, vacations in Maine, penguins, country music, card and board games, and being with her friends and family. She will be remembered for her quick wit, intelligence, and strength in the face of adversity.
Eileen graduated from Mercy High School and began a career in banking at National Savings Bank (now Key Bank). Then she began a new career at the N.Y. State Court of Claims for several years until her retirement.
Funeral services are Thursday, June 15, at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Ave., Albany, NY 12206.
