Joe and I send our sincere condolences to all the family. Although we haven't kept in touch very well, thinking of John brings me back to high school days. Life was new and conversation of boys and who was dating who and who would win the football game were the topics. My fond memories were of going over to the Carter household to swim and enjoy hanging out with Katy. I remember John being really tall and always on the go. He was quiet but always busy. We are praying for you all.

John has been a friend to my family including all of my children. He welcomed us into the Indian Guides and Indian Princesses with his friendly and thoughtful manner. He made everyone feel a special connection with him. We are all better for the involvement we have had with John. He will be greatly missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family.

I haven't seen John in some time but I know he fought so very hard to have whatever time he could with his wife and children and his family...our thoughts and prayers are with Jean, Dan, Jeffrey and Emily and John's whole family as they hold each other up during this difficult time. May the stories, the memories and the love that people bring to you bring comfort in this time of sorrow.

My warmest heart felt sympathy and condolences goes out to the entire family. I was saddened with the news of John's passing...... for he was truly a great friend and a sincere human being. He and I traded family stories and sports news.......especially conversation about the NY Yankees. That is how friends get through rough times and on the job demands. Life is just a blip on the radar screen and John even though taken from us........makes one become even more passionate about life and try to live each day as if the days are numbered. He will certainly be missed. One never knows what path a higher power has in store for us and it is hard to explain sometimes why things happen the way they do........but, we must carry on and hold on to the memories of how John touched all of our lives. He gave a lot of himself and gave many a lot to remember. May all that were close to John find strength to get through the pain during this time of sorrow.

I have known John for several years having worked with him at GE. The last time I saw John was last winter at the end of a recreational basketball game in which your younger son was playing. I spoke with him afterwards and told him that it was great to see his smiling face. That is the way that I will remember him.

Sincerely,
