It's always hard to say goodbye to those we love, but we have to celebrate Joe's birth to eternal life. He was one fine man, and I have no doubt that he heard, "Joe, job well done. Come and enjoy eternal life."

I heard o Joe's death when I was at Pyramid on Friday. Closing weekend made it impossible for me to be with all of you in person but I can assure you I was there in spirit all day. We remembers Joe at Mass Saturday night.
Joe was one of the kindest, caring, faith-filled person I have had the pleasure of knowing. He was always so encouraging. My sincere sympathy to all of you wonderful members of Joe family and especially to Joan his constant partner and friend.

Shea family
Joe (papa as I called him)was a man of few words with the kindest, softest, affectionate touch. He could put the biggest smile on your face with a simple conversation. It was an honor to care for him and to be here for his last journey. He will truly be missed here at OLOM and will always have a special place in my heart. So sorry for your loss and I will miss seeing all of you.

Dear Joan and family,

Joe was a wonderfully warm, kind and compassionate man who will not be forgotten. He was firm in his faith, but not ever critical of anyone who may have disagreed with him. I consider him one of the most saintly persons I have met, and I feel quite certain that the heavenly hosts will surround him and gently and peacefully lead him home. Joe, you will be missed, for sure, by all those who know and love you. Rest in the peace of God, my friend.
