Ciccarelli, Luigi TROY Luigi Ciccarelli, 82 of Troy, passed into eternal rest on June 21, 2021, in his home surrounded by his loving family. Luigi was born in Italy and was the son of the late Luigi and Antonietta Leo Ciccarelli and loving husband of the late Geraldine Carpenter Ciccarelli. Luigi came to Troy in 1958, and operated his barbershop in Albia for over 30 years, where he had many customers that became his friends. He was a member of the ICC in Troy and enjoyed playing bocce. Luigi loved to travel and spend time with his family. He is survived by his son Luigi S. (Alicia) Ciccarelli of Florida and his grandchildren, Luigi S. Ciccarelli Jr. and Alayna C. Ciccarelli. He is also survived by his siblings, Sebastiano (Marirose) of Florida, Carminantonio (Mary Jane) and Carmela (Aldo) Tedesco both of Wynantskill; and his girlfriend, Nina Caridi. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Celebration of life Mass will be held on Monday, August 23, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Jude Church in Wynantskill.

My first barber. Luigi was a very young man back in the day, and our dialogue was always funny and tender. My prayers and thoughts to the family. I am sure he is missed. Thank you Luigi for being courageous with your scissors because my mother was always watching! Be at peace.
