Marijan Zacharkevics Obituary

Zacharkevics, Marijan GUILDERLAND CENTER Marijan Zacharkevics, 82, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Born on July 19, 1935, in Rezekne, Latvia, Marijan was a son of the late Vitolds and Elenora (Tamasunas) Zacharkevics. He was the devoted husband to the late Jean Grace Zacharkevics, they were married 57 years. For 37 years, Marijan was a civil engineer for the Department of Transportation with the State of New York, where he retired from. Marijan will be forever missed by his daughters, Lisa and Lori; and his grandsons, Eric (Chelsea) and Ryan (Kali). Also survived by two brothers, one sister and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services have taken place and burial was privately held at the convenience of the family. For those who wish, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Ln, Latham, NY 12110, in memory of Marijan Zacharkevics.
