Mary Wood Obituary

LOUDONVILLE Mary Hennessy Wood, 89, died Thursday, September 8, 2005 at the Albany County Nursing Home. Born in Watervliet, she lived in the area all her life. She worked for Montgomery Wards in Menands for over 20 years until her retirement in 1979. Mary was a communicant of St. Francis de Sales Church, Loudonville. Her husband, Roy M. Wood predeceased her. She was the mother of Paul M. Wood of Loudonville and James N. Wood of Brockport; sister-in-law of the late Carolyn L. Wood of Perth, Ontario; grandmother of Alicia Dauer, James P. Wood, Roxanne K. Wood-Holmes and Alyson M. Wood; great-grandmother of Patricia Wood, Paul Holmes, Samuel Holmes, Ahnika Dauer; sister of the late Paul and John Hennessy and Julia Sadlemire; several nieces, nephews and friends also survive Mary. Funeral services Saturday at 2 p.m. at the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment, Memory's Garden Cemetery. Contributions to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
