Patrick J. Vaccariello

Vaccariello, Patrick J. ALBANY Patrick J. Vaccariello, 89, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 3, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Born and educated in Albany, he was the son of the late Anthony and Nicolina (DeBlasio) Vaccariello. Patrick worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 40 years, retiring in 1986. He served during World War II in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Zaloga Post 1520, a communicant of Mater Christi Church, and an avid N.Y. Yankee fan. Husband of 33 years to Marjorie (Italiano) Vaccariello; father of Patricia Vaccariello, Donald Stewart, Karen (Scott) Mongeon and the late Linda Vaccariello and Keith Stewart; brother of Virginia (Joseph) Cornell, Regina Uhl, Anthony Vaccariello and the late Edward Vaccariello; grandfather of Andrew Chevalier, Samantha Stewart, Jordan Dingman, Courtney Stewart-Steciuk and Katherine Dingman; great-grandfather of Kadeis, Robbie, Liam, Jackson and Trey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. His funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, September 8, at 10 a.m. in Mater Christi Church, 40 Hopewell St., Albany. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. Relatives and friends are invited and may also visit with his family on Wednesday, September 7, from 4-7 p.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany.
