I did yard work for Shirley in the summers while I was home from college. She was a wonderful lady and I remember her well. I'm sure she is playing music somewhere. B Marsh, Menands.

Dear Anne and family. We were so sorry to hear of Shirley's loss. She was our neighbor for almost 40 years and she kept the most beautiful garden. she also taught our daughter piano and we so enjoyed her annual Christmas recitals. Whenever I could, I would bring my granddaughter, Stella, to visit. She mentioned that Stella was her mother's name. She will be missed; my deepest condolences. Gina Sperrazza

We will miss you Shirley. We were privileged to be your next door neighbor and enjoy your music for over a decade. We loved sitting on our patio listening to you play.
With much love

Shirley was always so gracious and those of us in the music community enjoyed being invited to her home on occasion for workshops and recitals. I last spoke with her several years ago at a Westminster Presbyterian Church following an organ recital. She remembered me from the Monday Musical Club and we had a lovely chat at the afterglow reception. Now she is making music with the angels. God bless
