Pomerantz, Shirley Dalfen TORONTO, Ont. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Dalfen Pomerantz on December 9, 2020, in Toronto. She was the loving wife of the late Dr. Zvy Pomerantz for 69 years; devoted mother of Bonnie (Stuart) Rosenberg, Susan (George) Weinberger and Shelley (Michael) Williams; cherished Bubbe of Marla (Brad) Gornstein, David (Danielle) Rosenberg, James Weinberger (Jenna Scott), Rachel Williams (Dan Mongeon), Sophie Williams as well as four beautiful great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Arnold (Molly) Dalfen, and Mendy (Rosalie) Dalfen; her sister-in-law, Claire Dalfen, in addition to many nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her parents, Miriam and Sam Dalfen; her sister and brother-in-law, Hilda and Joe Gerchicoff; as well as her brother, Bunny Dalfen. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private graveside service will take place in Montreal. Shiva is strictly private.
