Betty Wolfinger Obituary

WOLFINGER Betty Wolfinger, age 92, died on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Haven Hospice in Orange Park, FL. Betty was born in Pittsburg, PA, to the late Louis and Elizabeth Wolfinger. She is survived by her longtime friend and companion Polly Wise. She was preceded in death by her sister Helen Musinki and her brother Regis Wolfinger. In addition, Betty is survived by her sister-in-law, Edee Wolfinger of Kalamazoo, MI, nieces, Lin MacIntosh, Nancy Bailey, and Patty Forbes and nephews, Jim Wolfinger and Mark Murray. Betty retired in 1986 after a long career with CSX railroad. She was an avid golfer and until recently was a member of the Jacksonville Women's Golf Association and several local organizations. Betty was an active member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church where she was a member of a Women's Bible Study and an Exercise Program. Funeral services will be held at a later date at St. Catherine's Catholic Church on Kingsley Ave. She will be buried next to her mother and father at Westhampton Memorial in Richmond, VA. Services entrusted with Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073 (904) 264-1233.
