Dear Kris and Melanie, I am sorry to hear about the passing of your sweet Mother. I was fortunate to visit with her, frequently, when our appointments, with Nan, coincided. I was able to keep up with you and your families (almost like I was visiting with you). She was a wonderful lady and will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Kathy Williams

Kris and Melanie, You were so Blessed to have had such a Precious Mother. I loved Cheri so and I called her my Mother In Christ and she called me her "Other Daughter". We had such wonderful times on the Alaska Cruise, Gator games and the trip to Maui and I will cherish those special memories forever. I miss her so much already but I am so glad she is not suffering anymore and she is with our sweet Jesus.
May God be with you and may you lean on Him and draw from His strength. With our deepest sympathy. Love, Mike and Margie

Dear Family.......
I'm not sure that you will remember me but I worked with your mom at Atlantic/First Union. What an elegant lady. She was also dressed "to the nines" and had a great laugh. But most of all she was very smart. Kept all of us young'uns on our toes.

God Bless you and He will get you through it...

Dear Kris.Melanie & families,I met your mom in 1977 when your aunt,Jeanne hired me to work @ Atlantic Bank----she was always such an inspiration to me.There were SOOOO many things she taught me that I still remember so many years ago. I'll never forget her smile & her way of loving everyone. Cheri was such a SPECIAL person & I'll NEVER forget her. We spoke about a month ago & if I had known she was in such bad health I would have made an extra effort to go & see her---time seems to slip away without notice. But I'm thankful to remember her as she was---and we'll never forget Nana's pound cakes---if you have the recipe, please share. Sam always loved them----he never liked them iced & even for our wedding in 1991,Nana had to put a little icing on the "groom's" cake--she just couldn't deliver it without a "touch of sweet"!!! We know what a loss this is for you,but know that GOD will take you thru the grief if you'll but hold HIS hand & let HIM lead you. Cheri told me that you lost John,Kris----well,we lost our baby,Chris 5 years ago--he was only 30 & died of an enlarged heart the day before Mother's day. If HE can walk me thru this valley,I KNOW HE can comfort you as well.
Our prayers are with ALL of you,as Cheri loved each of you in a VERY SPECIAL WAY. Know that she is at peace & with her LORD & SAVIOR. Well done, good & faithful servant!!!!

I wish I could remember exactly when I met your wonderful Mom but every year (and there are many) has been a pleasure. A nicer person couldn't be found. I am going to miss our annual "race" to see who could mail their Christmas card first. My deepest sympathy on your loss.

Kristen, Melanie & families,

We walked for her on the 24th at the Jacksonville ALS Walk, not knowing that your dear mother had passed away on the 23rd. Cheri was a wonderful friend, and we shall miss her. Please accept our sincere condolences on your loss, Memory eternal. K & L Lewis
