LAMB Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com Danny George Lamb, age 61, of Macclenny, Florida passed away February 24, 2012. Danny was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Mary Ellen Mattair Lamb on May 22, 1950. He was a resident of Baker County since 1960 and attended Celebration Baptist Church. Danny was a 1968 graduate of Baker County High School, held his undergraduate degree in Physical Education from the University of West Florida and a Masters of Education Administration from Florida State University. He had 35 years in the auto sales industry and was the owner operator of Danny Lambs Auto & Truck Center for the last 16 years. Danny was a Civil War buff, enjoyed Carolina Shag dancing, exercising, reading and was passionate about the development of Downtown Macclenny. He was a loving husband and devoted father. Survivors include his devoted wife of 41 years: Deborah Green Lamb of Macclenny, FL; his children: Jeffrey Beau (Tracy) Lamb of Macclenny, FL and Deborah Leigh (Jode) Ballard of Tampa, FL; his grandchildren Chloe Lamb, Molly Lamb and Miles Ballard and his loving mother-in-law: Bernice Green. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 11:00 am First Baptist Church of Macclenny, FL with Pastors Elmer Crews and John A. Raulerson officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Macclenny, FL. The family will receive friends Monday, February 27, 2012 from 6:00 -8:00 pm at the church.
