LTC John F. Plumb (USA Ret.)

PLUMB A Memorial Mass for John F. Plumb, LTC, U.S. Army, Ret., 78, will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Born on June 12, 1923 in Hartford, CT, Mr. Plumb died on Tuesday, February 26, 2002 at his home. Mr. Plumb was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and is survived by his wife, Denis Murphy Plumb; daughters, Jennifer Plumb Worrell of Jacksonville, Sister Judith Plumb of Evanston, IL and Michele Plumb Beaty of Ponte Vedra; sons, Jonathan David Plumb of Jacksonville Beach, Jeffrey Keith Plumb of Long Valley, NJ, and Michael Edward Plumb of Jacksonville; sister, Marilyn Stratton of Windsor Locks, CT; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
