It was my pleasure to attend Billy's funeral yesterday in Callahan.
The blowups of his yearbook photo and "Most Athletic" pose holding a football reminded me of the day he and I walked together at our 1950 Baccalaureate ceremony. Such happy, carefree days!
I was in Salt Lake City last week and thought of Billy as I toured the Mormon Tabernacle. He was so proud to be a "Mormon Boy" and was held in high regard by his Church.

I attended Andrew Jackson with both Bill and Ted Forsyth. I will always remember him as a perfect gentleman. I was not fortunate enough to be one of his close friends but I did always admire him. My sympathy to his Wife, children and grand children . He will be greatly missed.

I was a friend and classmate.I was in the class of "51" but,had several classes with Bill.I also knew his brother Ted. This was a great family and I am sure his passing will leave a great void. I wish the family the best and hope they have many wonderful memories to cherish.

To all of Bill's wonderful family. My heart goes out to you all and my deepest sympathy. I was an Andrew Jackson classmate of Bill's. We both graduated in 1950 and I will always remember him as an athlete, a good student, and a handsome boy liked by everyone.
Our class will surely miss him.
