Claude Biegly Obituary
Claude H. "Butch" Biegly Jr., 73, of Slatedale, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Ellen C. (Mack) Biegly, whom he married on May 6, 1972.
He worked for Kraft Foods for 36 years as a forklift operator.
Born in Northampton on Jan. 13, 1950, he was a son of the late Claude H. Sr., and Edna L. (Handwerk) Biegly.
He was a 1968 graduate of Slatington High School.
Butch was a member of Good Shepherd UCC, Slatington, and a former member of the Slatedale Fire Police.
In addition to his wife Ellen, he will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Lori Biegly and her companion, Brent Meinhart, of Slatedale, and Denise Biegly and her companion, Tim Gad, of Slatington; and grandchildren, Mason, Emily, Alexis, Lauren and Lily.
He was also predeceased by a daughter, Lucinda Wirth.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington. Interment, Slatedale Cemetery. Call 10:30-11 a.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to Good Shepherd UCC, 3940 Mountain Rd., Slatington PA 18080.
