Daniel Koch Obituary

Daniel J. Koch
Daniel Jay "Danny" Koch, 43, passed away on Feb. 5, 2022, in his home surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Bruce Koch and Darlene Dor-ward.
He grad-uated in 1996 from Palmer-ton High School, where he was lovingly known by many as "The Mayor."
Danny's strong work ethic was on display as he worked his way up at Blue Ridge Country Club. He started out as a cart attendant, working his way up until he was promoted to bar manager.
He served the community as a volunteer firefighter with the Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Company, starting at the age of 16.
Danny worked as an EMT for the Palmerton and Lehighton Ambulance Association since 2011 and 2013, respectively.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his fiancée, Stephanie Bongo, with children, Lilliana, Ava and Estella; a brother Brian; a sister Leeann; a niece Julianna; and his stepmom Diane.
He was also preceded in death by his aunt Pauline and uncle Donald Noll; and his grandparents, Robert Koch and Valeria Koch-Beck and Paul and Esther Dorward.
Danny will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have known him, and those who will never get the chance to meet him.

Danny will be missed I'm sure. Always smiling, he never had a bad day that he would acknowledge. He was a living example of "It's a great day at Blue Ridge". Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. May he RIP.
