A licensed private pilot, he loved to fly and also loved gardening, photography, fishing, history and classical music. He was a proud alumnus of Penn State University.

We just wanted you to know how much doc meant to us. With out him in our lives things would not have been so great. He helped us out many times from hiring our mother to be his nurse to taking care of all of us kids. He was always gruff but when I would go in to the office he always joked with me and I would call him doc. then he would smile. My first memory of him was when I was 5 and mom and dad rushed me in on a Saturday night for stitches. He always came in to the office when we needed him. Sure wish we had some of him today in the doctors. Thank you for helping our family out all those years not sure we would have made it without him. All our Love , The Matuskevich kids. Debbie . Dr Lenyo, was our family doctor when I came down with menningitis in 1968. He was one of the doctors credited with saving my life, a debt that can never be repaid. God Bless and Rest in Peace.

I didn't mind going to the doctor as a child because mine was Dr. Lenyo, who was always gentle and kind and patient. He was a dear friend to my family, helped us in so many times of need, and will be remembered fondly. My condolences to his family.
