Frank Fink Obituary

FINK Frank Jacob Frank Jacob Fink, age 76, of Maumee, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009, in St. Luke's Hospital. He was born in Offenbach, Germany in 1932 and emigrated to Canada. In 1960 he and his wife immigrated to the United States. Frank was a licensed Custom House Broker and subsequently made a career in international logistics. He was a member of Toledo Schwaben Verein and was actively involved with the GAF Society for many years. He was also a member of the Toledo Sister Cities International Group and a founding member of the Delmenhorst Committee, Toledo's sister city in Germany. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Irene; sons, Frank (Lisa) and Michael (Annette) Fink; grandchildren, Noa, Ashley, Courtney and Norwin and brother, Ernst (Gertrude) Fink. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Karl. Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd. on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the mortuary. Interment will be private. Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Scholarship Fund of the Toledo Schwaben Verein, c/o Herman Schmalzreid, 24960 Lakewinds Drive, Perrysburg, Ohio 43651.
