Henry Jr.



Henry Perales Jr., age 56, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Mercy St. Anne Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born December 28, 1955, in Toledo, he was the son of Henry Perales Sr. and Mary Nino. Henry attended Franklin grade School and Waite High School. He was employed by the Jeep Corporation for over 30 years during which he served as a union steward for the UAW. Henry also enjoyed metal detecting and collecting coins. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Henry was an avid Alabama football fan "Roll Tide".

Henry is survived by his parents, Gilbert and Alice Mendoza; his wife of 28 years, Delia (Almanza) Perales; daughters, Angie Duran, Raquel (Dave) Derian and Jessica (Josh) Radtkin; son, John Duran Jr.; sisters, Shirley Perales, Patricia (Jeff) Hudak and Cheryl (Jim) Guerricagoitia; brothers, Mark (Danielle) Perales, Steve Perales, Joe Manning and Tony Manning; grandchildren, LeAna Inman, John Antoszewski, Ysabel Duran, Amai Inman and Jace Radtkin, and best friend, Jeff Leichty. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Manning.

Family and friends may visit Tuesday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114-128 E. Alexis Rd. Funeral Services will be in the funeral home Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. Please share memories and condolences at

My favorite memory is hanging out at Ceasar's Palace Pool in Las Vegas during Jess's wedding weekend and you were surprised of some of my music - you actually approved and liked some of it :) I hate that you had to suffer, I'm relieved the suffering wasn't prolonged.
