Dear Aunt Dorothy,
I'm so sorry that I was not able to see you or pay my respect before my flight left for home. I have so many wonderful memories from my childhood that included Uncle Herb, you and Nancy. Wamplers Lake, Sunday visits and overnight stays on Federman, visiting Grandma there, Nancy and I playing with her dolls, Walbridge Park and amusement rides in the summer, swimming at Highland Park and Uncle Herb's garden and picking him up after work in Maumee and the Rollercade. These are all memories that make me smile and thank God for the legacy of family commitment and love that you and Uncle Herb shared for almost seventy years. My prayer is that God comforts you and sustains you during this sorrowful time.
Love, Claudia

Dear Aunt Dorothy,
Though I cannot make it to the services for Uncle Herb, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I will always remember Uncle Herb for his wonderful sense of humor, even when his health was failing him. I pray that God will bless you and comfort you in your loss.
Love, Connie

Dear Dorothy,
Some of my very earliest memories are of you, Herb and Nancy. I can remember when my mother went to the hospital to have Jenny and mom sent me to your house for you to babysit me. I was four. I am sorry for your loss. Please know that I am thinking about you and praying that the Lord brings you comfort.

Dear Dorothy,
I have the fondest memories of Herb, from the wonderful bottles of wine he gave Ken to sharpening my daughter Kelly's ice skates.
My sincere condolences
