I'm so sorry that I was not able to see you or pay my respect before my flight left for home. I have so many wonderful memories from my childhood that included Uncle Herb, you and Nancy. Dear Aunt Dorothy,

Though I cannot make it to the services for Uncle Herb, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I will always remember Uncle Herb for his wonderful sense of humor, even when his health was failing him. I pray that God will bless you and comfort you in your loss.

Dear Dorothy,
Some of my very earliest memories are of you, Herb and Nancy. I can remember when my mother went to the hospital to have Jenny and mom sent me to your house for you to babysit me. I was four. I am sorry for your loss. Please know that I am thinking about you and praying that the Lord brings you comfort.

I have the fondest memories of Herb, from the wonderful bottles of wine he gave Ken to sharpening my daughter Kelly's ice skates.
