Lucille WATSON Obituary

WATSON Lucille G. Lucille G. Watson, 90, of South Toledo, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2011, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She met her future husband, Forrest on a blind date and they married in 1942 before he was recalled to service in the U.S. Army. Lucille and Forrest worked together at Bunting, Brass & Bronze until retirement and they loved to travel with Lucille as map navigator and Forrest as pilot. He preceded her in death in 1995. Lucille loved shopping and the theatre and would go to any opening "including an envelope". She was a longtime season ticket holder at the Stranahan and was also a member of St. Petri Lutheran Church. In addition to her husband, Lucille was preceded in death by her sisters, Ellen Paulsen, Ruth Frank, Marian Taylor, Gertrude Ramm and brothers, Clarence and Elmer Frank. She is survived by her son, Terry R. (Janet L.) Watson; sister, Shirley Adams and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave., on Sunday, March 27, 2011, from 2 to 7 p.m. Private services will be held on Monday at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Lucille's family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, and requests memorials be given to their facility. www.walterfuneralhome.com

"Time to go Lucille!" I can hear Uncle Forry saying it now. It was time to go - but you had fun while you were here. And we loved you for it! I am sorry I won't be able to make it because you know how I love a good funeral but I send my deepest sympathies to Terry and Janet.
