Michael R. HART

HART Michael R. Michael R. Hart, of Jackson, MI, passed away December 8, 2010. Mike was born October 13, 1929, in Toledo, OH. He was preceded in death by his wife, Miriam; sisters Marjorie Conrad and Rosalyn Finch and brother, Roger Hart. Survivors include his sisters, Donna Parson and Barbara Collins. Mike was a 1949 graduate of Scott High School, a 1960 graduate of the University of Toledo and a member of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity. He was a science and history teacher and had taught at Custer Junior High School, Ida High School and Bedford High School. He was a member of the Toledo Opera Society and had sung in many operas. He and his wife Miriam were avid members of the Lamplighter's Dance Club in Toledo. Mike was a history buff and enjoyed traveling, frequently combining vacations with significant historical locations in the U.S. and international trips to England, Germany and Russia. A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the National Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org .
