PELLAND Oscar F. "Mickey" Jr. Oscar "Mickey" Francis Pelland Jr., age 68, of Toledo, Ohio, died on Friday, December 18, 2009, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 15, 1941, in Providence RI to Oscar F. and Dorothy (Herbert) Pelland Sr. and on September 17, 1960 he married Mary Lou Ryan in Monroe, Michigan. Oscar was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator for various companies throughout Toledo for 32 years before retiring in 1999. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local #18 as well as a former member of Faith Bible Baptist Church. Oscar enjoyed softball, hunting and fishing. He loved spending time at the family cabin in Baldwin, Michigan and will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lou Pelland; children, Oscar F. ( Debbie) Pelland II, Nick C. (Krista) Pelland, Mickey Jr. (Connie) Pelland and Laura A. (Brian) Hart; 20 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Bob (Tricia) Pelland, George (Christy) Pelland, William (Gail) Pelland, Joe Pelland, Chuck Pelland, Dave (Pam) Pelland; sisters, Dorothy Williams and Mary (Gary) Phillips. Oscar was preceded in death by his daughter, Pam Lewis; brothers, John and Michael Pelland; parents, Oscar and Dorothy as well as his grandson, Noah Hart. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-8 P.M. in Neville Funeral Home, Reynolds Corners Chapel, 5052 Dorr Street in Toledo (419-535-0951) where funeral services will be held on Monday, December 21, 2009 at 11 A.M. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in Mickey's name to Promedica Hospice.
