Those of us who knew Bob or "Grandpa" as we called him, knew what a wonderful man he was. I will always remember the days we we go and visit him. Mr. Fournier was like a grandfather to all of us kids on Rood St., even though we are all young adults now. Mr. Fournier, we will never forget you.

Mary:
Your Dad was my mother's (Catherine Weissenberger Jordan)first cousin whom I remember from when we used to visit when I was a child and when you brought him to RCIA. I am deeply saddened by his loss and will pray for him, you, his family and all who hold his memory dear.

Dearest Fournier's, I am sorry to hear of your loss. I know how hard it is to lose a loved one, especially aroung the holidays. Mr. Fournier was a wonderful person, neighbor, and second father to all kids on Rood. I will never forget all the beautiful memories that were created growing up on Rood. I am so glad that my husband had a chance to meet both Mr. and Mrs. Fournier the last time we were in town. It was wonderful sharing old stories and creating new memories too. I am so grateful for your dad and family for being a part of my life. He will never be forgotten.

We are so sorry to hear that Bob has passed. Being his next door neighbor for five years was a joy. I still remember my youngest boy at the time, sitting on our split rail fence talking with Bob many times. My kids loved Bob, we were blessed to have a person to fill in for the grandfather they never had. My dog Shadow, who did not like most people, adored Bob. We all missed Him and JoAnn when we moved. We will always cherish the pictures we have of Bob.
