Robert Ponzi Obituary

Robert T. Ponzi, son of Peter and Kaye Ponzi, was born on August 1, 1946 in Syracuse, New York, died April 1, 2022 in Houston, Texas. Bob graduated from R.I.T. in Rochester, N.Y. earning a degree in electrical engineering. His career took him to Europe and Venezuela. Car racing and skydiving were his interests; he participated in world class skydiving events in Russia and Thailand. He leaves behind a son, Jonathan; niece, Nicole; sister, June; and brother-in-law, Paul.
Bob was loved.

My sincere condolences to June for the loss of her brother and Nicole for the loss of her uncle Bob. My heart is sadden for your loss.
Dear Bob,
To learn of your death over a year later has broken my heart. We always said we'd be friends forever, so I grieve that we had not spoken during your last year. Still don't know the cause of your death, but you lived such a full life. An RIT graduate, followed by life as a traveling electrical engineer, with many hobbies such as being a car buff (Austin Healy), motorcycling and of course a master skydiver participating in world records. Thank you for many years of friendship and the good times we shared.
This is sort of a last letter, but never my last thought of you. Miss may God grant you His eternal love and peace.
