Robert Weissenberger Obituary

Robert Alfred "Bob" Weissenberger died unexpectedly in his Anchorage, Alaska residence on June 14, 2023. He was born in Toledo, OH on February 23,1949 to Richard and Mary Kathryn (Platz) Weissenberger - the oldest of 8 children.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Tom. Surviving are his 6 siblings, Rick (Toledo, OH), Don (Erie, MI), Chris [Bob] Ward (Sterling Hts., MI), Ken (Toledo, OH), Anne [Mark] Stunja (Greensburg, PA), Terri [Matt] Schantz (Loveland, OH); 22 nieces, nephews; and many great- nieces and nephews.
Bob served in the U.S. Army for 3 years. He was a CPA and worked in the tax and accounting fields before pursuing his love for outdoors and moving to Anchorage, Alaska, in 1984. He continued his work as a CPA in Anchorage until his retirement.
Interment will be private at Calvary Cemetery.
