Roberto Encarnacion Obituary

ENCARNACION Roberto C. Roberto C. Encarnacion, age 65, of Evanston, IL, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, in the John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital in Cook County, IL. A native of the Phillipines, Roberto was born on June 7, 1941, in Talisay Batangas to Arsenio and Angelita (Caraan) Encarnacion. He was a school teacher and principal for 15 years while living in Batangas, and an employee of Culligan while living in Illinois. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Roberto was passionate about his gardening, as well as an avid bowler. In addition to his loving wife of 44 years, Metrodora (Marquez) Encarnacion, Roberto is survived by his mother, Angelita; daughters, Catherine (Josel) Uy of Skokie, IL and Ana (Robert) Crisostomo of Tampa, FL; sons, Alvin Encarnacion of Evanston, IL and Ariel (Carolina) Encarnacion of Toledo; sisters, Gloria Palomeno, Violeta Malabanan, and Lucy (Rolly) Magsino; brothers, Ernesto (Mercidita), Romeo (Gerlie), and Rogelio (Evelyn) Encarnacion and grandchildren, Kim, Jessica, Nicolas, Jeremy, Riela, Navil, Joshua, Ethan, and Meiko. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8 p.m. and Monday from 2-8 p.m. in the Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114-128 East Alexis Rd. Funeral Services will begin Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in Regina Coeli Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
