Charles A. Dinardo CRANBURY Charles A. Dinardo, 76, of Cranbury, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at the Veterans Home in Lyons, NJ. Born Nov. 30, 1941, in New Brunswick, he spent his entire childhood in Cranbury, graduating from Cranbury Elementary School, and then from Hightstown High School. His father was a longtime barber in town, known to many over the years. Charles spent most of his adult years in Cranbury as well. He enlisted in the Army in February 1961 and was honorably discharged after completing his three-year tour of duty. He later rejoined the Army, but was released on a medical discharge. His hobbies as a youth were collecting stamps and baseball cards. As an adult he enjoyed going to casinos and horseracing tracks. He was employed as a meter reader at Public Service Electric and Gas for many years. Charles never married. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Karen Dinardo of East Windsor; his sister, Lucille Aitken of East Windsor; two nephews, one niece and her spouse and their children; two aunts, one uncle, and many cousins. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are private under the direction of A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 N. Main St., Cranbury.
