Mary Murphy

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP Mary Murphy, 92, of Hamilton Township, NJ, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022, at home. Born in Atlantic City, NJ, Mary was a lifelong Hamilton Township resident. She was a Personnel Assistant for the State of New Jersey, where she retired in 2000, after more than 20 years of service. Mary was a talented artist, (working with watercolors), an avid gardener, loved shopping, taking cruises with her late husband of 56 years, and vacationing to Cape May. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren dearly and her dogs. Predeceased by her parents Paul and Frances Carroll Henon, her son-in-law Basilio Venanzi, her twin sisters Eleanor Walter (Bucky) and Emma Henon, and her brother Paul Henon, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Eileen F. Gittins, and her husband Thomas R., Maureen E. Venanzi, and Colleen A. Santoro, and her husband Christopher; her grandchildren, Thomas John Gittins, Julia Rose Santoro, and John Patrick (Jack) Santoro;her sister-in-law, Betty Henon; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. A public graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 12:30 P.M., at St. Marys Cemetery, Hamilton. As per Marys wishes, there will be no call hours. Arrangements are by the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel 1799 Klockner Road Hamilton, NJ 08619. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marys name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. At this time, the family would like to thank Fr.
