Mega Condolences to the Dixon/Harris families...especially to Orvilla & Kenny Dixon, who i grew up with along with Cynthia. She & i attended many of the same classes together during our high school years. I can vividly remember her as a cheery, yet sassy chick who loved to crack jokes about our teachers and their style of dress during that period. I, for one, will miss her quick wit, sassy personality & lovely charm...RIP Cynthia (and to older bro Robert Tee)!!!

To Kathy, Kenny and Paul Jr.:
I just learned of Cynthia's passing, and my heart goes out to each of you. Although it's been years since we've spoken, Cynthia would be in touch from time to time to let me know how she was doing and to encourage me in dealing with my fight with lupus. We would laughingly recall how she taught me to ride a bike (I think her hollering and getting tired of running into hedges was what really taught me!) :) and the many games of jacks we played on the front steps (never could beat her!). "Paulie" was the joy of her life, and he quickly became the O'Neal's adopted baby-such a sweet baby...
I pray for your peace and comforting from our Lord and Savior in the days ahead. God bless each of you!

Miss Me But Let Me Go
When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not to long and not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared, miss me but let me go.
For this is a journey that we ALL must take and each must go alone.
It's all part of the Master's plan, a step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart go to the friends we know, and bury your sorrow in doing good deeds,
Miss me but let me go...

Paul,Aunt Dottie,Uncle Kenny and family....this is one of my favorite poems. I don't know if you remember, but this was on the back of Uncle Joe's program and I have loved it ever since and pass it on to everyone who has lost a loved one. It allows me to find peace and to understand that our loved ones are in a new place now...I hope it does the same for you. May God bless you all as you go through this celebration of life! I wish I could be there, but please know I am there in spirit! Rest in Peace Aunt Cynthi!
