She was born July 23, 1923, in Dunbar Township, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Helena Kearns Pockstaller. Kathleen was a graduate of the former Immaculate Conception High School. She then received her dietary degree from West Virginia University in Morgantown, W.Va. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a dietician at various places, most recently at the Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, W.Va. She was a member of the Connellsville Hospital Club and Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Connellsville. Kathleen will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving children, Martha Corsa and husband, William, of Monroeville, Mary Lou Dillon and husband, Bruce, of Columbia, Md., Katie Jackson, of Connellsville, and Thomas W. Jackson Jr., of Pittsburgh; her grandchildren, Kassie Jackson, Jennifer Corsa, Charlotte Savoy and Kirk Dillon; her sister, Eleanor Logan, of McMurray; and her good friend and caregiver, Ruth Graft, of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents, Kathleen was predeceased by her husband, Thomas W. Jackson, in 1987; a sister, Mary Taylor; and a brother, William Pockstaller. A private funeral Mass will be held for the family in the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville, with the Rev. Robert Lubic as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 116 S.
